Reflective Journey 1
So far as I take this journey through the many different aspects of wellness, I realize that learning about inner peace and tranquility also helps me discover the pain and suffering that I have unnecessarily allow myself to hold on to. The mind, body, and soul can reach unimaginable levels of prosperity and flourishing when connected correctly. The whole idea as a human being is to invest and value within, and eventually perfecting that routine will provide a beautiful portrait on the outside

Easy Physical Wellness
Walking
Most people hate doing any moderate to heavy, physical exertion. Lets face it, many of us can barely find the time or passion to entertain a regular fitness routine. However, walking is something most of us have to do everyday anyway. So why not learn to enjoy it? Lets find ways to walk more. For instance, at the grocery store, try parking way out to encourage yourself to do more walking. Even at work, try to take more walk breaks. I find that as a student, getting up to walk helps me focus 10 times better when I sit back down to do research. Use aids such as music or enjoying nature. Walking not only promotes cardiovascular health but also strengthens muscles. Before you know it, you will be shedding more pounds. Therefore, Get off your butt and walk more.
Dancing
Most of us are not natural dancers, and some of us barely have the coordination to walk without falling. So this is a good opportunity to dance at the leisure of your home. Play more music and watch more musicals. What starts out as a mere "head bopping" experience may end up feeling like you're dancing with the stars. The cool thing about dancing is that you don't actually have to know how to dance. Just stand up and start moving your body to music. Not only is dancing good for cardio and fat burning, but it also promotes mood enhancement. So what if you fall down, as long as you are having fun and melting fat.
Playing with the kids/Pets
For many of us that have kids or pets, much of our time is spent with them. So I found ways to use my 4 year old daughter to exercise. I began doing bicep curls by lifting her up and down, and she acted as though she was on a amusement park ride. We dance together and constantly chase each other around the house. Many pets, especially dogs, love running around as well. So anything from piggie back rides, kid assisted push ups will have you feeling like you just worked out with a personal trainer. Before you notice it, all of you will be losing weight together.
House Cleaning
OK, so I absolutely hate cleaning the house and find every way possible to avoid doing it. But regardless, it has to get done. Chores such as vacuuming, wiping the blinds, cleaning the windows, laundry, and washing dishes all require moving your body. The more of it you do the more exercise you get out of it. The good thing about cleaning the house is that you will see results in your weight loss, as well as, the appearance of your home.
